From the minute I met Sascha she treated myself and family with amazing kindness, mixed with empathy and humour. She explained everything that was happening and going to happen without scaring me. She phoned my daughter before I was even out of theatre to say I was ok, which showed her care towards the whole family. My scar is neat, to me that's important as I already had no self confidence and body image is important at any age and I think Sascha gets that. At my follow up appointments it didn't take a lot to freak me out, but yet again there she was with hugs and humour to put me at ease. I feel truly lucky to have this lady fighting my corner with me. I think at probably the most frighten tile in my life I had the best possible treatment from an amazing surgeon. There is only one negative to this post I struggled a little with a couple of the aftercare nurses. You are told to call with any worries and I think I've only call a few times but on one occasion I felt like I was being a nuisance. Having said that it was only a couple of times.

I met Sascha after looking online for a surgeon as I wanted to have a boob job. Being 22 Years old and being someone that has never had surgery or anesthetist before I was terrified but after years of thinking about it I decide to take the plunge. Not only am I over the moon with the end result but I was so happy that I chose Sascha and put my trust in her to do the operation. Whilst doing my research on surgeons I was drawn to Sascha as she specialises in all things breasts and I thought who better than her to give me a pair of boobs, and the fact she was a woman just topped it off for me and I booked my consultation straight away. Sascha made me feel very comfortable every time I met her and answered every question I had without hesitation or trying to rush me out the door. She gave me her email address so I could ask her as many questions as I wanted, whenever I wanted and she always replied with positive and helpful responses and very quickly. I always felt like she completely understood why I wanted surgery and was always looking to the future and the positives and telling me how fabulous I was going to look and feel with new boobs. Surgery day was fabulous! Sascha came to see me and my parents before and was so reassuring and I knew I was making the right decision. I think my parents were more scared than me and she also took the time and effort to comfort and reassure them and personal went back to my hospital room to meet my parents and tell then I was out of surgery and in recovery. At home after surgery I started to worry myself because they were swelling and the Bra was tight and well I'm just a big worrier anyway. I emailed Sascha just to describe my recovery and if she thought there was any cause for concern and also sent pictures of bruises etc just to make sure it was all normal. She replied basically straight away and calmed me down describing everything, telling me it was normal but to go and see her the next day just so she could have a look and reassure me even more. 3 weeks after surgery I have seen Sascha 4 times and countless emails sent backwards and forwards. She will always make the time for her patients whether your concerns are silly or not and she has also been so complimentary of her work, my new boobs! My boobs look fabulous and I can't wait to start living my life as the new confident me, thank you Sascha!!

My experience with Sascha Dua is purely from a cosmetic perspective. I had lost a lot of weight and decided I wanted a breast augmentation as I had lost my "boobage" in the process. I did a lot of research on surgeons prior to meeting Sascha but decided on booking a consultation with her as the reviews just on here alone speak for themselves. It also helped with my decision that she was a female surgeon and just dealt with breasts, what Sascha doesn't know about breasts really isn't worth knowing! I'm 1 year post surgery now, so thought it was a better time than any to share my experience. On first meeting Sascha at the nuffield Brentwood, I knew instantly she was the surgeon for me. Once in the room with her, you have her full attention, you are never rushed and she answers all your questions thoroughly. she is sympathetic, and straight talking but on top of that she has a great sense of humour in moments that could be a little awkward. I visited Sascha 3 times prior to my surgery purely due to the fact I was unsure on size and each time was a pleasure seeing her, it was like visiting a friend. Eventually I decided to go bigger than I first anticipated, and I'm so glad I did, but if it wasn't for the fact that I talked it through with Sascha on a few occasions I probably would of rushed my decision and made a bad one. Because I'd met her a few times, I built up a great deal of trust in her also, and even on the day of my surgery, I had narrowed it down to two sizes, but I let Sascha decide what she thought looked best once in surgery. And I'm so glad I put my trust In her as I couldn't be happier with them. On the day of the surgery, I saw Sascha prior to me going down for the op and she put me at ease straight away, and she even said to my husband she would give him a call once I was out to let him know how it went, and true to her word she did, when she could of just let someone else do it, or expected him to to phone the hospital for updates. That really helped put his mind at ease also. When I came around from surgery I remember Sascha trying to talk to me, but I was still groggy from the anaesthesia and wasn't making much sense, and I remember her saying to the nurses she had to go off to another hospital but she would come back and see me in the afternoon. And true to her word, she did on her way home. There are not many surgeons out there, that will take the time out of their own life to make sure you are ok and happy with how things are, and I will always be thankful to her for that. I then saw Sascha numerous times post op, for my check ups which was great as you don't often get to see your surgeon so many times post op. I had a slight complication with one of my stitches that was nothing serious, and I phoned to speak to the nurses about seeing them that day so they could check all was ok, within 10 minutes of that phone call, Sascha was ringing me herself to make sure that I was ok, and wanted to see me straight away to check for herself... Thankfully it was nothing serious, but if it had been I knew I was in great hands. All the nurses at the nuffield were absolutely brilliant also and could not fault them in anyway... And whenever I met them pre and post op they all couldn't speak any more highly of Sascha, and kept telling me how lucky I was to of found her. I think that speaks volumes. A few months ago my sister had a scare and had found a lump in one of her breasts and went to see Sascha, she instantly put her at ease and thankfully it turned out to be nothing. But when my sister said who she was seeing, I knew she was in great hands and couldn't think of a better person to look after my sister. I just want to take this opportunity to thank Sascha for absolutely everything. I really couldn't of found a better surgeon, and I feel so privileged to have met her. Thank you Sascha! Two weeks ago I had breast cancer surgery. I want to thank all the staff at the breast care unit from reception to X-Ray to the breast care nurses, especially 'my' nurse Gemma Smith, and of course Sascha Dua who performed the operation. Everyone was helpful, caring and sympathetic to my fears. At each stage everything was explained so there was no fear of the unknown, it was very efficient in that if they said I would get a letter, I got a letter; if they said see that person and get an appointment that person gave me an appointment. Simple but it does instil confidence. I also appreciate the telephone calls I have had from the breast care nurses asking if I was OK and if I had any problems. My only suggestion of constructive criticism concerns the Day Surgery Unit which I felt could have had an office for the nurses, who were all lovely as well, to use the telephone, chat etc. It was very distracting when I was waiting for four hours for my operation and wanted to read and relax but there was constant hubbub.
